Access: foot and horse
- Authorized Species: all legal species, but the following are common:
- Big Game: black bear and deer
- Small Game: tree squirrel
- Upland Game Birds: blue grouse and California and mountain quail
- Camping:
- Availability: May through October, depending on snow conditions
- Location: overnight camping is allowed in the Golden Trout Wilderness, which has five public campground
- Permit: required and available from the USFS Tule Ranger District Office in Springville
- Dogs: link to our summary of regulations for hunting dogs and training
- Fishing: allowed in back-county lakes and in three ponds, which are stocked with trout for public fishing
- Horses & Pack Animals: NOT allowed in the campgrounds but may be kept in the public corrals near Shake Camp
- Hunting Days: during open season except that the forest is closed during the winter
- Off-Road Vehicles: limited and NOT recommended
