  • Access: by boat from the Napa River, as well as the China, Devil’s, Dutchman, and Napa sloughs see our Google map
  • Archery: a bow and arrow or crossbow bolts with flu-flu fletching is allowed ONLY for the purpose of hunting migratory game birds or small game within designated shoot areas except that for waterfowl, conventionally fletched arrows may also be used while sitting on the water from scullboats or similar watercraft. Warning shots!!! During any archery season, archers may NOT possess a firearm while in the field hunting (see our summary)

  • Dog hunting: NOT allowed from Mar. 2 – Jun. 30 (see our summary of dog hunting/training restrictions)

C. Waterfowl Season:

D. Dove Seasons:

  • Hunt days:
  1. Early season: DAILY during open season (Sept. 1 – 15, 2013)
  2. Late season: NO dove hunting

E. Pheasant Season:

  • Hunt days: Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays during open season (Nov. 9 – Dec. 22, 2013)

F. Quail Season:

  • Hunt days: Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays during open season in Zone Q2 (Sep. 28 – Jan 26, 2014)

G. Rabbit Season:

  • Hunt days: DAILY during the early dove season (Sept. 1 – 15, 2013)

H. Snipe Season:

  • Hunt days: Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays during open season (Oct 19. – Feb 2, 2014)

I. Other Activities:

  • Dog leashes: required except when hunting
  • Camping & trailers: NOT allowed
